Securitas, Inc. is hiring a Flex Security Officer (Part Time) in Kansas City, MO. This role focuses on maintaining a safe environment through access control, patrolling, and customer service for client sites.

Expect to enforce site regulations, report issues, and operate security technology throughout shifts. Qualified candidates are at least 18, possess a high school diploma or GED, and bring strong customer service and independence.

Qualifications

• Above average computer/tech skills.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills required.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm under pressure.

• Professional demeanor and ability to respond to emergencies with quick judgment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and perform access control and patrolling per post orders.
• Interact with client employees and guests to provide information and assist.
• Identify safety issues and report hazardous conditions or suspicious activity.
• Complete assigned rounds and document findings.
• Utilize technology devices during shift and conduct property tours.
• Carry out tasks similar in scope to those at the assigned site.

Flex Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Kansas City, MO

Wage Range: $15.00-$18.50/HR

The Flex Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient's employees and guests.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
