Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking FLEX SECURITY OFFICERS to support the Waterloo/Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area in Iowa. This role covers multiple posts with shifts across 05:00–22:00 daily, including some overnights.

You must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and be able to pass Iowa background checks; training provided at Cedar Rapids branch. Benefits offered include medical, life, dental, vision, paid vacation and holidays, disability plans, a 401K/403b, and educational assistance.

We are looking to hire for FLEX SECURITY OFFICERS in the Waterloo/Cedar Rapids/Iowa City, Iowa Areas.

• Our Cedar Rapids branch covers; Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City & the surrounding areas. --- All interviews and onboardings must take place at our Cedar Rapids Branch. **

Pay

Ranges from $16.00 - $22.00 an hour depending on assigned post (Rate is based on the client contract and varies from client to client.).

Shift

Various hour needs, but primarily someone who is available to cover vacant shifts between 05:00-22:00 seven days a week. (Some overnight shifts may be available as well.)

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a Federal State of Iowa background check, motor vehicle report and 4 panel drug screen.
• Must be available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. (Anyone with day/weekend shift restrictions need not apply.)
• Must come to the Cedar Rapids branch for interviews and potentially onboard.
• Shifts may come up on short notice.
