Job summary

TAIT is seeking an Integration Swing Tech to support installers and project teams with practical, hands-on technical expertise, flexibility, and a strong safety commitment. The role emphasizes learning, troubleshooting, and delivering high-quality results.

You will assist in equipment installation and setup, rigging, shop prep, inventory, and on-site coordination, collaborating across disciplines to keep projects on schedule and meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a theatrical/entertainment technician.
• Proven experience with fabrication tools and techniques related to assembly and modification of parts.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Assist in installation and setup of equipment, machinery, and TAIT products.
• Focus on infrastructure and building preparations to help facilitate project needs.
• Hang chain motors and rigging equipment to support project infrastructure.
• Advance preparations and improvements related to shop flow and storage.
• Stock and supply safety equipment and signage.
• Maintain detailed inspection records of integration equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist in unloading/loading of trucks and material transfer between TAIT and local buildings.
• Set up and prepare electrical requirements prior to projects.
• Support decommissioning and removal of outdated rigging and safety gear.
• Receive and sort integration equipment returning from onsite jobs.
• Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
