Job summary

Sports Endeavors in Mebane, NC is seeking warehouse team members to pick and pack sports merchandise in a climate-controlled facility. Shifts include Day 6:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. and Night 6:30 p.m.–6:30 a.m. Candidates should be reliable, able to lift up to 50 pounds, read numbers, and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include pulling items from shelves, packing, labeling, and keeping the warehouse safe and organized, with potential work at our Washington St facility as needed.

Job description

Team members will pick and pack sports related products for customers in our air conditioned warehouse in Mebane, NC.

Pick/Pack Major Accountabilities/Essential Duties

Responsibilities:

• Review order and pull product from warehouse shelving, ensuring the right item and amount of item is selected
• Pack orders in correct shipping box or sleeve
• Create shipping label using warehouse system software and scale
• Assist with in keeping a clean and safe working environment throughout the CFC.
• Work in other areas of the warehouse as needed; support work at our Washington St facility as needed.

Requirements:

• Candidate should be able to pick, pull and pack merchandise with minimal absenteeism and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to read numbers and letters and match them up with picking locations
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, kneel and reach about your head.
• Must be able to go up and down step ladders safely while carrying products.
• Must be proficient in English in order to be considered for this position.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to learn basic computer skills.
