Job Overview

Join the FLEX Order Selection Team in this part-time, fast-paced role where you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. The role requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, and operating motorized equipment including Electric Pallet Jacks, while ensuring safety and accuracy. Job Responsibilities

1. Select various grocery, perishable, frozen, or repack products from warehouse stock.
2. Report inventory adjustments, spoilage, damage, location changes, and out-of-stocks.
3. Transport products throughout the warehouse using electric pallet jacks.
4. Maintain performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimal damage and maximum safety.
5. Follow all safety policies including HACCP and SQF procedures.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must work at least 8 hours a week.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds and work with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Willingness to work in temperatures from -10 to 90+ degrees Fahrenheit.
• Availability to work holidays and weekends.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

• Experience in a large warehouse/distribution environment within the last 3 years.
• Experience with Electric Pallet Jacks or Reach Lifts.
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to meet minimum departmental productivity rates.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and verbal instructions accurately.
• Understanding of warehouse processes for a comprehensive perspective.
• Good judgment, especially when supervision is not immediate.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role at one of our UNFI locations, such as a distribution center or office.

Physical Demands

• Lift up to 75 pounds, and stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently.
• Work in temperatures from -20 to 90+ degrees Fahrenheit.
• Perform repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements.
• Work with hands overhead and operate equipment as needed.
• Have good vision and manual dexterity to perform job duties safely.
