Johnson Matthey in West Whiteland, PA is seeking a Flex Operator to support our production of precious metals. You will set up and operate equipment, fabricate to specifications, monitor performance, and maintain accurate batch records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or stated.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and fabricate precious metals to defined specifications using approved procedures.
• Set up and operate production equipment including wire rod mills, bull blocks and wire drawing machines.
• Monitor equipment performance, change dies and adjust processes to maintain quality standards.
• Inspect products during production, correct defects and escalate issues when required.
• Weigh, record and maintain accurate material and batch records for traceability.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area while managing waste and scrap materials.

The role

As a Flex Operator, you will help drive our goals by:

• Processing and fabricating precious metals to defined specifications using approved procedures
• Setting up and operating production equipment including wire rod mills, bull blocks and wire drawing machines
• Monitoring equipment performance, changing dies and adjusting processes to maintain quality standards
• Inspecting products during production, correcting defects and escalating issues when required
• Weighing, recording and maintaining accurate material and batch records to ensure full traceability
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area while managing waste and scrap materials
