Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Flex Officer - Part Time in Bismarck, ND. Earn $23.50 per hour while helping maintain a safe environment, managing access, patrolling sites, and assisting clients and guests with courteous service.

Responsibilities include following post orders, reporting issues, using technology devices, and responding calmly under pressure. Benefits include various insurance options, 401K, paid time off, and more.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Driving required.
• 1 year of security, law enforcement, or military policy experience required.

• Enforce regulations and directives for client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and areas.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Narrowly follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift and conduct site tours.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature and scope as required for the site.

Flex Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
