Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Flex Machine Operator – Missile Operator (3rd Shift) (Machine operator) to be based out of New Bedford, MA Duchaine Facility. Reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Supervisor, the operator will be responsible for operating machinery, using simple measurement instruments to check work, and completing required paperwork.

What you will do:

Machine Operator responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Efficiently and safely operate machinery.
2. Maintain accurate production and quality records and complete daily safety inspections.
3. Understand the product, machine, and process.
4. Comprehend technical functions related to equipment and job schedules.
5. Follow and understand the requirements outlined in the job-specific procedures.
6. Ensure product quality and make adjustments as needed to meet product and customer specifications.
7. Cut appropriate lengths per the schedule and package the product accordingly.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

What you will bring:

• Ability to operate machinery efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records, including safety inspections.
• Understanding of the product, machine, and process.
• Technical comprehension related to equipment and schedules.
• Adherence to job-specific procedures and requirements.
• Ability to ensure product quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Responsibility for cutting and packaging products as per schedule.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete any required training.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
