We are currently searching for a Flex Machine Operator – Missile Operator (3rd Shift) to be based out of New Bedford, MA Duchaine Facility. Reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Supervisor, the operator will be responsible for operating machinery, using simple measurement instruments to check work, and completing required paperwork.

What you will do:

• Efficiently and safely operate machinery.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records and fill out daily safety inspections.
• Understand the product, machine, and process.
• Comprehend technical functions related to equipment and job schedules.
• Understand and meet the requirements and capabilities outlined in the job-specific procedures.
• Ensure product quality and make necessary adjustments to comply with product and customer specifications.
• Cut appropriate lengths per the schedule and package the product accordingly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete any required training.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders for this role.
• Become well-versed in Atkore’s Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
