Job summary

Anderson Merchandisers is seeking Flex Associates to support client projects across stores. This on-call role reports to the Market Sales Manager and offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and benefits for both full- and part-time associates.

Duties include executing tasks and displays, maintaining confidentiality, and lifting up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance). Shifts may be sitting, standing, or walking, with weekend coverage required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; 100 lbs with assistance.
• Access to a computer, internet, printing capabilities, and e-mail.
• Customer service or sales experience preferred.

Job description

The Flex Associate position is responsible for assisting other Anderson Merchandisers associates in execution of client projects. Employment will be on-going on an as needed basis and reports directly to the Market Sales Manager.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute all required tasks, projects, resets, and displays with accuracy, by following all provided instructions
• Maintain company, client, and retailer confidentiality
• Must be able to lift objects and products up to a maximum of 50lbs with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects/products up to 35lbs., in addition, the ability to lift heavy objects up to100lbs with assistance from another associate
• Work could be performed while sitting, standing, or walking
• Work performed will entail fine manipulation of hands and/or fingers, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing, as well as upper and lower body mobility
• Work flexible shifts (am or pm) based on store requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to lift objects and products up to a maximum of 50lbs with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects/products up to 35lbs., in addition, the ability to lift heavy objects up to100lbs with assistance from another associate
• Work could be performed while sitting, standing, or walking
• Work performed will entail fine manipulation of hands and/or fingers, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing, as well as upper and lower body mobility
• Work flexible shifts (am or pm) based on store requirements and needs, including a minimum of one 4-hour weekend shift.
• High School diploma or equivalency certification required
• A valid driver's license is required, as travel to additional locations may be necessary
• Automobile liability insurance is required to be maintained
• Must have access to a computer, internet access, printing capabilities, and e-mail
• Access to a webcam is preferred
• Customer service or sales experience preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• A minimum of conversational proficiency in English (both spoken and written) with the ability to communicate with customers and/or coworkers at a conversational level in real-time.
