The main responsibility of the Service Hub Flex Technician is to support either the TEB, Teterboro, NJ, or HPN, White Plains, NY Service Hubs, depending on aircraft demand. This position can be based in either TEB or HPN.

Whether replacing or repairing parts, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems, or performing inspections on sophisticated civilian aircraft, no day is the same. Each day brings new experiences and opportunities for growth.

You Will Be ESSENTIAL To Many Functions Including:

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removing and installing panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and resolving aircraft system or component issues.
• De-fueling aircraft.
• Engine removal and installation.
• Operating ground support equipment.
• Inspecting and evaluating aircraft and components.
• Assisting with aircraft movement and performance runs/taxiing.
• Maintaining and repairing shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
• Notifying the Lead Mechanic of any issues related to parts, materials, workmanship, or airworthiness.
• Providing detailed work reports and shift handover logs to the Lead Mechanic.
• Properly tagging and storing aircraft components, parts, and panels.
• Using basic computer skills to navigate electronic manuals, training, and maintenance databases.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off.
• Communicating effectively in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Your Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent, along with an Airframe and Powerplant License, is required. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is preferred.
