Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking an Advanced Provider to join our multi-specialty group as an APP Flex. This hybrid role offers one remote day and four on-site days across multiple sites with no after-hours or weekend requirements, supporting provider absences and patient workflows.

Job description

Baystate Health is seeking an Advanced Provider (AP) to join our multi-specialty group as an APP Flex. This is a hybrid position involving a balanced combination of both remote and onsite responsibilities. The Ideal AP will assume the responsibility of providing coverage across multiple sites without being responsible for their own panel.

Position Highlights

• Hybrid schedule for balance and flexibility — 1 remote day + 4 on-site days at various locations as needed to support the site’s operational demands
• Covering sites for planned and unplanned Provider absences
• Covering practices indirect work within provider in basket folders including but not limited to; patient gateway messages, telephone calls, urgent refills, urgent or critical results, CC’d charts and other folders as time allows
• No after-hours charting or inbox
• No call, no weekends, no holidays
• Variety in clinical settings — exposure to different teams, workflows, and patient populations
• Opportunity to build relationships across multiple sites and providers
• Ideal for adaptable, independent providers who enjoy flexibility and variety
• AI scribes for note documentation as an option for those interested
• AI enabled EMR functions for easy chart search, orders, etc. for those interested

Compensation: The compensation ranges below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full-time commitment for exempt employees.

Salary Range: $128,000-$175,000

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a primary care or specialty setting. Strong commitment to working with our underserved community and comfort with medically complex patients and the ability to function well as part of a medical team is essential.
