Detroit Engineered Products is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to support our corporate fleet operations in Auburn Hills, MI. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and work closely with Engineering to identify and resolve quality issues.

This role requires hands-on experience with automotive systems, strong diagnostic abilities, and the ability to read technical manuals and schematics. A valid driver’s license is required to operate company vehicles.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as an automotive or fleet technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with vehicle systems, diagnostics tools, and repair procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues across corporate vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and optimal performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to identify root causes of vehicle quality issues.
• Document findings, repairs, and technical insights clearly and accurately.
• Support Engineering with testing, data collection, and special projects.
• Follow all company safety protocols and compliance standards.
