Signal Tampa is seeking a Fleet Vehicle Porter in Tampa, FL. This entry-level role supports keeping the fleet mission-ready, coordinating transport for wraps and installations, and performing basic maintenance with attention to safety and efficiency.

You will work Mon-Fri 8am-4pm, require a valid driver's license, and help maintain organized vehicle inventories while ensuring compliant operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Move and park vehicles in an orderly manner on the lot or in service areas.
• Conduct regular visits to offsite locations to assess fleet and golf cart conditions.
• Keep vehicle inventory organized and properly positioned.
• Wash, vacuum, and perform light cleaning of vehicles as needed.
• Perform light-to-moderate vehicle maintenance including tire changes, door switch and mirror replacements, body part swaps, and Raven camera installations/troubleshooting.
• Perform on-site maintenance, including tire and battery changes as needed.
• Shuttle vehicles between locations when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws while operating vehicles.

Job Title: Fleet Vehicle Porter

Job Summary:

The Fleet Vehicle Porter is an entry level role that plays a critical part in keeping Signal of Tampa Bay's fleet mission-ready and operating at peak performance. This position combines mechanical skill, organizational ability, and logistical coordination to ensure vehicles are safe, efficient, and compliant across all sites. From transporting vehicles for wraps and lighting installs to performing hands-on maintenance and inspections, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Range: $18-$19 / hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours)
• Ability to conduct foot patrols, including stair climbing
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in heat and humidity
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds as needed

Work Environment

• Primarily outdoors on dealership lots or in service drive areas
• May require standing, walking, and frequent vehicle entry/exit
