Job summary

SP+ is hiring a Vehicle Maintenance Technician – PDOT in San Diego. You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles to ensure safety and reliability for revenue service.

The role requires ASE certifications or willingness to obtain them, a valid driver's license, and DOT Medical Card. Join SP+ Fleet Services to support a large network with a focus on safety, efficiency, and high standards.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Graduation from approved program at technical school a plus.
• Prior experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Maintenance Technician preferred.
• Possess or willing to obtain ASE certifications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain vehicles to meet safety, reliability, and passenger comfort standards.
• Perform quality maintenance inspections and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
• Carry out maintenance duties in a safe, cost‑effective manner.
• Maintain technical competency and participate in ongoing training.
