Job summary

SP+ Corporation, a leading fleet and mobility company, seeks a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician in San Diego. The role ensures safety and reliability of revenue vehicles, performing inspections, repairs, and ongoing maintenance to meet SP+ standards.

CDL may be required depending on location, with ASE certifications encouraged and DOT medical card mandatory. Applicants should have a high school diploma, technical school training is a plus, and be willing to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Degree or equivalent required. Technical school completion a plus.
• Certifications: Possess or willing to obtain all applicable ASE certifications.
• License: CDL Class A/B/C depending on location’s needs; Passenger Endorsement if operating shuttle buses with 15+ passengers; exceptions for 14 or fewer passengers.
• DOT Medical Card: Must have a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
• Hand Tools: Must have all necessary hand tools to perform maintenance duties.
• Availability to Work: 2nd/3rd shift and/or weekends may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and passenger comfort according to SP+ Fleet Services standards.
• Perform quality maintenance inspections and repairs on all assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Perform maintenance duties in a safe, efficient, cost-effective manner.
• Maintain technical competency and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
