Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking Vehicle Preventive Maintenance Technicians to perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles and assist senior technicians. You will inspect, lubricate, and service vehicles, change fluids and filters, and document work in the maintenance system.

The role requires basic mechanical skills and a valid driver's license, with opportunities to grow in a large waste and recycling company. The position involves outdoor work, varying shifts, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to use repair manuals and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers and team.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and basic tools to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles following safety and policy guidelines.
• Inspect and service vehicles, including fluids, filters, and components.
• Assist senior technicians with repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and cycle counts.
• Ensure safety devices are functional and shop areas are organized.
• Complete administrative duties related to parts and warranties.
