Job summary

Transdev Baltimore is seeking a Utility Worker/Service Employee to support basic vehicle servicing and fleet maintenance. The role emphasizes safety and customer service in a dynamic, outdoor environment on a unionized pay scale.

You’ll help keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for service while performing light upkeep and facilities tasks. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license (3+ years), and flexibility to work various shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
• DOT drug testing and physical (if applicable) as per regulation.
• Able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of fleet vehicles (interior & exterior).
• Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles as needed.
• Fuel buses, log fluids, and monitor levels.
• Assist with basic building maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical).
• Clean and maintain facilities (restrooms, offices, mechanical rooms, outdoor areas).
• Perform groundskeeping (mowing, trimming, snow removal, landscaping).
• Conduct light maintenance at shops and fueling stations.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as required.

Education
