Parkway Family Auto Group in Tomball, TX is seeking an Upfit Technician to complete consistent, quality installations on a variety of vehicles.

The role focuses on installing and removing equipment such as in-car cameras, mobile data terminals, mobile radios, storage boxes, and partitions, with attention to safety and documentation. The company offers benefits and opportunities for growth, and requires reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Installation of Emergency Lighting a PLUS, we will train once hired if you have no experience.
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Ability to work on and see colored small objects
• Good hearing and color vision
• Be at work station ready to work at scheduled time

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle Up-fitting
• Installation and removal of all equipment
• PPV Tahoes, Silverados, and other vehicles
• In-car camera systems
• Storage boxes and Partitions
• Mobile data Terminals
• Mobile radios
• Vehicle repairs, retrofitting and upgrading
• Document all services rendered, and parts used on Service Ticket for all installations or removals done
• Maintain an orderly and clean working environment, keeping the installers shop organized
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner (service orders, work logs, timecards, etc.)
• Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area
