Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times.
• Assign drivers and vehicles to routes based on schedules, locations, and capacity.
• Dispatch drivers and monitor progress to ensure on-time deliveries and adherence to schedules.
• Manage a fleet of vehicles, ensuring maintenance, servicing, and inspections.
• Schedule routine maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle mileage, and KPIs to optimize fleet performance.
• Supervise transportation staff, including drivers and dispatchers.
• Conduct driver training on safe driving practices and customer service standards.
• Monitor driver performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address deficiencies.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, and stakeholders on inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through reliable, responsive transportation services.
• Generate reports and track KPIs to identify trends and improvements.
