Job summary

In this role you will collaborate with drivers and maintenance staff across Dallas to address vehicle issues promptly and optimize routes, improving efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role in transportation.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the transportation fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
• Schedule and assign routes to drivers, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of goods.
• Train and mentor new drivers, ensuring they are compliant with all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor driver performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and safety.
• Ensure that all vehicles are inspected regularly and that any necessary repairs are carried out promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driver performance, and route schedules.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that transportation services meet the needs of the company.
• Ensure that all transportation activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
