Job summary

UNFI is seeking a full-time Fleet Support role focused on inspecting, cleaning, preparing, and staging trailers for route or repair. The role supports a large distribution network and requires basic maintenance assist and safety adherence.

One year of related experience is preferred, with mechanical aptitude and reliability as key traits. Key duties include cleaning exterior and interior of trailers, reporting damage, and documenting fuel and wash activities.

Qualifications

• One-year related experience and/or training.
• System Implementation Preferred.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Understanding of safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Check Reefer Fluid Levels Oil / Coolant.
• Wash Truck exterior as scheduled.
• Wash Trailer Exterior / Interior as Scheduled and Deodorize Trailer.
• Spray/Wash out Reefer Units as needed.
• Report Equipment Damage to Supervisor.
• Document fuel gallons used by unit daily.
• Document equipment washed daily.
• Check fluids on yard truck daily.
• Assist fleet mechanics with basic maintenance.
• Performs other job duties as required.
