Southern Tire Mart is seeking a tire technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for passenger cars, light trucks, and heavy trucks. The role includes diagnosing mechanical issues on semi-trucks, performing PM inspections, and conducting fleet maintenance.

Responsibilities also cover TPMS usage, roadside response with a service truck if needed, and support for inventory and safety procedures. Must be at least 18, pass a drug screen, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Competenze

• Must be able to lift/move tires weighing 30–250 lbs.
• Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred (not required).
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Mansioni

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for various vehicle types.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers.
• Conduct fleet inspections and routine maintenance.
• Operate and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
• Respond to roadside service calls using a service truck when needed.
• Assist with inventory loading, unloading, and counts.
