Job summary

Pine Belt CDJR MS is seeking a tire technician to service a range of vehicles, from passenger cars to industrial trucks. You will balance, rotate, and repair tires and diagnose mechanical issues on heavy-duty systems.

Role requires physical work, lifting up to 250 lbs, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required, with benefits including 401(k) and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires preferred (not required).
• Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work involving repetitive motion, forceful exertion, and working in awkward postures or under vibration.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair tires on passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks, and industrial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers, including brakes, HVAC, driveline, electrical systems.
• Conduct fleet inspections and routine maintenance.
• Respond to roadside service calls using a service truck.
• Use and maintain TPMS.
• Assist with inventory loading, unloading, and physical counts.
• Participate in ongoing training, follow safety protocols, and uphold company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
