Swift Transportation is seeking a Fleet Leader/Planning Leader to oversee terminals with 250-500+ trucks and to drive Express lane growth. You will lead operations, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure reliable service for customers across our network.

The role requires proven leadership, strong communication, and organizational skills to manage schedules, resources, and performance metrics, while maintaining a positive work environment that aligns with our growth and culture.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience is required and at least one year in Swift Driver Leadership/Planning/CSR or 2+ years in Swift Driver with prior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Fleet Leader or Planning Leader for terminals with 250-500+ trucks.
• Oversee growth of Express lanes and Express business.
• Act as liaison between internal departments to communicate needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Purchase of office supplies, staff scheduling, and monitoring trailer pools.
• Manage driver relations issues and address customer relations concerns.
• Review terminal reports and monitor performance metrics to drive improvement.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere to meet company demands and expectations.
• May perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
