Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing mobile team. This hands-on role focuses on installing and troubleshooting GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers.

Ideal candidates have an automotive or electrical background and a strong aptitude for learning new technology. You’ll travel to customer sites for mobile installations, maintaining safety and quality with

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new fleet technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, trailers and other fleet assets.
• Perform 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, and trailer connections.
• Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
• Test equipment and diagnose electrical or installation issues.
• Document installations with photos and notes.
• Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations.
