Job summary

AAA Mountain West Group in Oakland is seeking an entry-level automotive technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs, including inspections, oil changes, fluid services, tire work, and related tasks.

You will interpret work orders, document parts and diagnostics, maintain a clean work area, and assist other technicians as needed. Competitive pay and strong benefits await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience in inspecting and repairing cars and light trucks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory 39 month driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine vehicle inspections, oil changes, other fluids services (brake fluid, coolant, transmission, etc.), flat tire repair, tire dismounting/mounting/balancing and other maintenance-related services.
• Interprets and completes work orders and related documentation assigned by shop manager.
• Documents include, but are not limited to, parts requisitions, diagnostics reports, inspection forms and recommendations.
• Assists other technicians as assigned.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area. Returns shop supplied equipment to proper locations, ready for other technicians to use.
