PepsiCo is seeking a dedicated Fleet Maintenance Technician in East Syracuse, NY to maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance. You will work with seasoned mechanics on complex repairs and ensure vehicles are serviced and ready for delivery.

The role includes CDL required for certain returns and driving tasks, a focus on safety, and a fast-paced environment that keeps drivers on the road with popular brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age or older.
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• You have a valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle.
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years.
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required)
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor
