Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in New York to maintain and repair our fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventative maintenance. You\'ll work alongside experienced mechanics on complex repairs and help ensure vehicles stay on the road delivering beloved snack brands.

You\'ll return vehicles to the traffic center as needed, manage parts inventory, and collaborate with vendors for estimates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and available for weekends/holidays as needed.
• Valid driver\'s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in tight spaces for extended periods.
• Will work under trucks for 8–12 hour shifts with or without accommodations.
• CDL required for return-to-traffic-center duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep vehicles on the road.
• Work with experienced mechanics on complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center as needed.
• Manage parts inventory and charge parts and labor to work orders.
• Build vendor relationships when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.
