Job summary

PepsiCo in Brisbane, CA is seeking a fleet mechanic to maintain and repair company vehicles, diagnose issues and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Non-DOT Driver's License.
• License must not be suspended or revoked in the last 3 years.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch.
• Able to work in tight spaces for extended periods.
• Will work on/under trucks for 8 to 12 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance.
• Work with experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and charge parts and labor to work orders.
• Build relationships with vendors for estimates on parts or outside labor.
