Qualifications

What does a Diesel Fleet Mechanic Lead at Swire Coca Cola do?
This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road!
Job Details:
Schedule: 5:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday
Starting Pay: $30/HR and up Depending on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements
- Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
- Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules
- Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or GED)
- ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic
- 2+ years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers
- Own set of tool set and understanding the best practice for how to use required tools
