United Rentals in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Fleet Technician II for Mobile Storage to perform intermediate refurbishment and repair across structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, following standard procedures and work orders.

You will coach technicians, document work orders, travel to customer sites, maintain safe shop conditions, comply with 5S guidelines, and ensure all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active state driver’s license.
• 3-5 years of basic electrical, plumbing and/or welding repairs.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate refurbishment and repair across structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Complete assignments on time and within budget, document work orders.
• Travel to customer sites to set up mobile/modular offices and assist CDL A Drivers when needed.
• Follow 5S guidelines and maintain a safe, organized shop and yard.
• Coach and mentor less experienced technicians and support operations as needed.
