Job summary

PepsiCo is hiring a fleet maintenance technician in Cookeville, TN. This role maintains and repairs a diverse fleet, including light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts, with training provided for diagnostics and repairs. You will work independently, maintain records, and support a strong safety culture throughout each shift.

Eligible candidates are 21 or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty.
• At least 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems, aftertreatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, diagnostic platforms, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with independence.
• Use diagnostic tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs (training provided).
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a diverse fleet (light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts).
• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists).
• Support safety standards and procedures and answer service calls as needed.
