Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Fayetteville, TN to maintain and repair company fleet vehicles. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and coordinating with experienced teammates on complex repairs.

CDL is required to return vehicles to the traffic center when needed. You will manage parts inventory, log labor and parts on work orders, and liaise with vendors for estimates.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays and off shift.
• You have a valid Driver's License and a Personal Vehicle.
• Your license has not been suspended or revoked in the past 3 years.
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without accommodation.
• You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• You can work in tight spaces for extended periods.
• You will work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8–12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.
