Job summary

Zūm is looking for a Technician II to join our team in Johnston, Rhode Island. As a Technician II, you will conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Your role is crucial for ensuring fleet reliability and safety, addressing mechanical and electrical issues, and maintaining safety standards.

Compensation for this role is projected between $34 and $37 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two to four years medium/heavy truck fleet mechanic repair experience.
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and AC skills are a must.
• Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform vehicle repairs including steering and electrical systems.
• Assist Tech I’s with the rebuilding of engines and transmissions as assigned.
• Perform test drives during Preventative Maintenance inspections.
