Job summary

Zūm is seeking an experienced Technician I in Johnston, RI, to perform essential vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance across our fleet. Candidates should have substantial experience in fleet mechanics along with a valid CDL License and ASE certifications.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex mechanical issues, performing critical safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with DOT standards. The position offers $40 - $43 an hour, promoting a safe and organized working environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Diesel or Heavy/Medium duty fleets.
• Minimum five years of Auto/Truck or Bus mechanical repair experience.
• Proficiency with fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs on key vehicle systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance for serviced vehicles.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work area conforming to safety regulations.
