Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL needed within one year of employment with training provided by city.
• Must own hand tools.
• Must be willing to work outside normal hours for on-call and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on City vehicles, equipment, and trailers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed.
• Provide road service and field repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in City software.
