The City of Colorado Springs is seeking a Fleet Technician II in the Fleet Maintenance division to perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment.
You will diagnose defects, source parts, coordinate service writing, use diagnostic software, and work safely around heavy machinery in a shop setting.
A high school diploma or GED and 3 years of full-time fleet repair experience are required, plus a valid Colorado driver's license and industry certifications.

This position requires technicians to wear appropriate safety personal protective equipment and work in a shop environment around vehicles and heavy equipment with exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, and gases. This position requires manual and physical dexterity and the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and to lift and carry 50 pounds occasionally.
