Qualifications

• Graduation from high school (or equivalent) and two years experience in vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• Requires valid driving record and eligibility for District insurance.
• A CDL class B or A with passenger and air brake endorsements must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Safety-sensitive position with random DOT testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostics and maintenance on school buses and District vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel, gas, and alternative fueled fleets as assigned.
• Complete required inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
