Job summary

Perdue Transportation Incorporated (PTI) is seeking a Fleet Technician to keep our equipment mission-ready. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete service on engines, hydraulics, brakes, and driveline systems to support safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL Class A preferred.
ASE and/or OEM certifications are a plus.
Mechanic experience with fleet/heavy equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and service on brakes, air systems, electrical, hydraulics, and driveline components.
Use OEM diagnostic software to identify failures and determine repair methods.
(Senior Level) service engine emission systems, HVAC, welding/fabrication.
Complete work orders, ensure DOT compliance, and evaluate repairs before release.
Respond to road calls and perform emergency repairs as needed.
Mentor Level I and II technicians and support repair strategy decisions.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations.
