Job summary

Team Housing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Technician to manage inspection, maintenance, repair, and readiness of THS fleet vehicles and trailer assets. This hands-on role ensures safety, compliance, and deployability, reporting to the Fleet Manager and supporting both steady-state and surge operations.

Travel is up to 50% and field deployments may occur. You will perform PMs, diagnose issues, coordinate with external vendors, maintain records in fleet systems, and support deployment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, diesel mechanics, or automotive repair.
• Working knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and inspection protocols.
• Basic understanding of DOT compliance requirements (preferred).
• Ability to operate shop equipment, diagnostic tools, and hand tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform repairs.
• Escalate complex repairs to external vendors with proper documentation.
• Maintain service intervals per OEM specs and THS standards.
• Conduct inspections to validate readiness for deployment.
• Record maintenance activities in fleet management systems.
• Support mobilization and demobilization of fleet assets.
• Enforce safety standards and report hazards promptly.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas and yard.
