Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking an entry-level SVT Fleet Technician to help maintain our fleet operations. You will perform inspections, correct minor vehicle deficiencies, and support the technical team under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
• Post-Secondary vocational education strongly preferred.
• 1 year experience in mechanical inspections and repairs in a related field; CDL within 120 days of hire preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain a CDL within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Determine vehicle condition by conducting Preventive Maintenance Inspections and oil changes.
• Perform campaigns, install components, and part upgrades as directed.
• Carry out light repairs and correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, and assembling components.
• Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls.
• Perform tire repairs, rotations, and mounting as needed.
