Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Fleet Technician for the 2nd shift in Boynton Beach, FL. The role focuses on truck and trailer repairs, routine preventive maintenance, and accurate maintenance records.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of fleet maintenance experience and basic welding/body fabrication skills. Proficiency with diagnostic software and Microsoft applications is preferred, along with a safety-minded work ethic.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of fleet maintenance experience.
Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus.
Ability to read and comprehend technical reference materials, equipment manuals, and repair documentation.
Experience with Microsoft applications and diagnostic software.
Strong attention to detail.
Professional, dependable, and safety-focused work ethic.

Responsibilities

Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
Conducts routine preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes.
Collaborates with the repair team to diagnose vehicle issues and develop repair solutions.
Maintains accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
Repairs, modifies, and performs preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles as needed.
Completes all required preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions.
Inspects fleet vehicles to ensure DOT compliance, including brake maintenance and safety inspections.
Completes all required daily reporting.
