Job summary

FCC Environmental Services in Leesburg, FL is hiring a Fleet Technician for the 2nd shift to maintain safety, reliability, and outstanding customer service. You will repair and service trucks and trailers, run diagnostics, and work with teammates to meet daily operations goals.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of fleet maintenance experience, and proficiency with diagnostic software and Microsoft applications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Experience with Microsoft applications and diagnostic software.
• Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing A/C, hydraulic, and electrical components on heavy-duty trucks and fleet equipment.
• Reading and interpreting electrical/hydraulic schematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs on trucks and trailers, both minor and major.
• Conducts routine preventative maintenance on service trucks (inspections, tire rotations, oil changes).
• Collaborates with the repair team to diagnose vehicle issues and develop repair solutions.
• Maintains accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Ensures DOT compliance and safety inspections for fleet vehicles.
• Inspects vehicles to ensure safe operation and prepares maintenance reports.
