Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Fleet Technician A to maintain and repair fleet vehicles, vans, and forklifts to ensure safe operations. Schedule: Mon–Fri 10:00am–6:30pm. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, major/minor repairs, and diagnostics.

The role requires ASE certifications or extensive experience, valid license, and strong mechanical skills. On-site work with opportunities to train others and support a busy fleet. Benefits include PTO, health plans, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred).
• Five ASE certifications or ten years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel, gasoline, and propane fuel systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing air, hydraulic, and electric brake systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical systems, onboard diagnostics, battery-powered equipment, and basic welding.
• Own an adequate set of mechanical tools.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet company driving qualifications.
• Work set hours with occasional adjustments.

Fleet Technician A Role Overview

Maintains and repairs fleet vehicles, light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Schedule: Mon – Fri 10:00am – 6:30pm.

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on all fleet equipment.
• Perform major and minor repairs as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diagnostic trouble codes or symptoms of fault.
• Assist and train team members to strengthen the team.
• Handle parts and forklift operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred).
• Five (5) ASE certifications or ten (10) years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel, gasoline, and propane fuel systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing air, hydraulic, and electric brake systems.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical systems, onboard diagnostics, battery‑powered equipment, and basic welding.
• Proficient knowledge and experience with tools and equipment.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles safely.
• Own an adequate set of mechanical tools.
• Good work ethic for daily physically and mentally challenging work.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet company driving qualifications.
• Work set hours with occasional adjustments.
