Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Fleet Technician A to maintain and repair fleet vehicles, light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts to ensure safe operations. The role runs Mon - Fri 10 am - 6:30 pm, with responsibilities including preventive maintenance, major/minor repairs, and advanced diagnostics.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma (associate degree preferred), ASE certifications or significant experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Five (5) ASE certifications or ten (10) years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Diagnose and repair diesel, gasoline, and propane fuel systems.
• Diagnose and repair air, hydraulic, and electric brake systems.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle HVAC.
• Electrical systems testing, diagnostics and repair.
• Onboard diagnostics troubleshooting and repair.
• Battery-powered industrial equipment diagnostic and repair.
• Basic welding skills.
• Proficient with tools and equipment.
• Able to operate and drive vehicles safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on all fleet equipment.
• Perform major and minor repairs to all fleet equipment as needed.
• Perform advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting of diagnostic trouble codes or symptoms of fault.
• Assist others; train team members to improve knowledge.
• Responsible for parts and forklift operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
