Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is looking for a vigilant Checker to verify the accuracy and quality of products received from vendors and shipments to customers. The role requires basic math skills, reliable communication, and forklift certification or the ability to obtain it.

You will work on site at our Winston-Salem facility, counting goods, inspecting vehicles, and maintaining logs while supporting smooth deliveries and accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong basic math skills required.
• Good communication skills required.
• Must have good interpersonal skills.
• Forklift certification required or ability to certify.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Physically counts full goods, damaged and empties being returned to the plant.
• Performs vehicle inspections.
• Assists with reloading of deliveries.
• Separates good product from bad product on chip pallet and handles each separately.
• Opens and closes the gatehouse at the facility.
• Coaches and communicates directions to drivers entering and exiting the facility.
• Maintains accurate logs and records on deliveries, shipments, and incoming and outgoing traffic.
• Other duties as assigned.

Checker Role Overview

• Performs vehicles inspections.
• Assists with reloading of deliveries.

• Maintains accurate logs and records on deliveries, shipments, and incoming and outgoing traffic.
