Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for leading and directing the Tyson private fleet transportation team to achieve business and financial objectives.

• Responsibilities include:


• Driver management.


• On time service management.


• Driver safety management.


• Driver and load problem resolution.


• Other duties as assigned.

3rd Shift: Thursday - Saturday and Every other Wednesday. (6:00PM - 6:00AM).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred


• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in transportation


• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Tyson Business Computer Systems, Sale Inventory SAP Transportation, and Warehousing Systems is a plus


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Supervisory: Acts as a team leader, providing functional supervision and training for other team members


• Travel: Occasional domestic trips (1-5 per year)
