Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3-5 years in transportation or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
• Experience with fleet management software and GPS tracking is beneficial.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills essential.
• Experience in supervisory roles a plus; knowledge of safety regulations expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fleet operations, ensure vehicles are safe and ready for the road.
• Manage a team of drivers, providing guidance, training, and support to meet standards.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and clients to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor fuel usage and vehicle performance, implement cost-saving measures where possible.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated with safety regulations and audits; ensure compliance.
• Participate in safety inspections to uphold safety culture.
• Collaborate with office staff to ensure seamless field-office communication.
