Job description

Job Title – Fleet Supervisor – Fleet Management and Administration

Job Location – West London

Salary – £35k – £38k

In the role you will be responsible for undertaking the administration work relating to the large fleet of licenced vehicles.

You will manage and coordinate the daily maintenance and repair of all vehicles. You will be overseeing the handling of the vehicle tax process, to ensure our fleet is taxed and registered with the DVLA.

They need you to maintain and prepare reports to analyse status of all vehicles on fleet and ensure all vehicles are under the correct status and location/operator.

Working with the fleet and customer service teams to ensure all private hire licences maintained and up to date.

Our client is a leading vehicle finance and rental company that offers flexible vehicle solutions to PCO (Private Hire) drivers with a focus on Electric Vehicles (EVs). Their mission is to switch ride-hailing to electric!

They are one of the largest players in the sector and work with all the big ride-hailing companies including Uber, Bolt, FREE NOW and Veezu

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in making sure the company stays within company budget for SMR.
  • Determine inventory levels, obtains quotes, and orders parts and supplies.
  • Grow supplier networks
  • Develop and administer a fleet management program which tracks the service, maintenance, and repairs on all vehicles.
  • Complete and manage various documentation and paperwork.
  • Manage relationships and work with outside vendors to acquire needed products or services.
  • Select, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate subordinates.
  • Increase efficiency and productivity within the fleet team.
  • Establish and maintain vehicle and equipment operating and maintenance records.
  • Document management – Receiving all fleet documentation received into the business and ensuring documents are loaded onto our systems.
  • Managing MOT expiry dates and MOT documentation and ensure this is reflected in our systems.
  • Manging the spare key process and ensure key to car reconciliation is conducted daily.
  • Manage the congestion charge exemptions and registering vehicles on the TfL autopay system.
  • Mange and coordinate the private hire licence applications process with licencing authorities across the UK.
